Homemade, no bake high protein energy bars

A large number of protein bars on the market are essentially candy bars with extra protein. They are loaded with processed sugar, artificial sweeteners, and preservatives with names I can't pronounce. Here are some homemade protein bars I came up with that uses more natural foods





3\4 cups oatmeal

3\4 cups protein powder

1/3 cup honey

1/2 cup natural peanut butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract



 Blend together the honey,peanut butter and vanilla in one bowl


in a separate bowl combine the oatmeal and protein powder.








Slowly stir the dry ingredients into the wet (near the end it gets tough but it will mix together)


spread evenly over small container


store it in the refrigerator for about half an hour to settle.







Cut the bars into whatever shape you want. Store them in the fridge wrapped overnight or in the freezer for several weeks.
